ABOUT US KCL Sports is a 100% Australian owned company operating out of Newcastle, NSW servicing all areas of this nation and overseas. Established in 1982, founder Doug Kessell, a well known sportsman and all round “nice guy”, is still actively involved even though he is supposedly retired. Doug's son in law Jon Hastings and daughter Jenny, who have worked along side Doug for over a decade, have been the proprietors since 2001, providing continuity and strength behind this progressive business. Jon Hastings' background includes many years of civil construction including overseas experience. Jon personally has been involved in well over 1000 major projects with KCL and has been responsible for many of the innovations now employed in construction of our bowling greens and tennis courts. Over the past 14 years Jon has developed systems and standards to ensure a consistent finish to every stage of the project that can give you confidence in the end product. Why Use KCL Sports?
